kotaku have posted some Street Fighter IV (4) gameplay screenshots! The graphics look very artistic and cool, definitely check them out! Its set for release next year (20th February 2009) on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Yeah, you read that right, new Alan Wake stuff here. I mean, its only been like two years, so not a big deal, but there is a new trailer, or preview, i’m not sure what it would be at this point. teaser? Anyways, Remedy has also released some new gameplay details as well.
Light will play a very big part in the world around Alan. As enemies grow stronger in the darkness and in a world where light will gradually diminish through the coarse of the game. Of coarse, there is the crazy story and story elements i’m sure most of us are familiar with.

Not surprisingly Pro Evolution Soccer 2009’s has taken the top spot from FIFA 09 in the UK. So far Fifa 2009 had only enjoyed two weeks at the top spot but things can still change!

The Guitar Hero: Aerosmith demo has released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. But won’t be available on the PS3 until September 7th because unlike the Xbox 360, it only gets updated once a week.

Konami have announced Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will released in the UK on October 17th, which can’t come soon enough for me, being a big fan! For those living in Europe the date October 15th has been set, lucky! (North America On October 29th, November sometime in Japan) You might wanna get your pre-order now, only six or so weeks to go.
Also, a playable demo will be available on Live and PSN on September 11, which is the exact same date EA’s FIFA 2009 demo will be ready for download.
But there does seem to be some uncertainty regarding the demo!

Today, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 2 will be released on 24th of October in Europe on the Playstation 3, Windows PC and the Xbox 360. Can’t come soon enough for some but I’m pretty much a sports games only fan, with the exception of Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid.

Guns, guts and aliens, what more could you ask for? Gears of War delivers on all three, and does it fantastically. Even without a High-Def TV this game has mind-blowing graphics, from the incredible details on the landscape to the skin details on the characters, you can even see wrinkles that move with their face! The physics in the game are top-notch thanks to the Unreal 3 engine used to create all the effects.
The game really earned the 18 rating it received with the graphic gore contained within, like one of your guns has a chainsaw bayonet that, you guessed it, cuts the enemy in half.Not only does blood spray the surrounding area but also the game screen for a few seconds. Even the cutscenes use the in-game graphics and without a High-Def TV this game looks almost real. This is a game where you could literally spend all day admiring the graphics, even standing on a pier in the middle of a rainstorm with water below you will give you an unforgettable experience.
